Word of Mouth: Exceptional Speech Therapy
The Speech Language Pathology Department at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center and St. Joseph’s Wayne Medical Center offers diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatient and outpatient adults and pediatric patients with a variety of speech and/or language disorders.
Comprehensive individualized evaluations are provided in English and Spanish – by our professional staff of speech-language pathologists. Following the evaluation, an individualized treatment plan is developed for the patient and family.
Communication disorders treated:
- Articulation Disorders
- Delayed speech and language development
- Autistic Spectrum Disorder
- Vocal Cord Dysfunction
- Voice Disorders
- Dysarthria (slurred speech)
- Aphasia, following Stroke
- Cognitive Impairment, resulting from traumatic head injury or stroke
