Important Message Regarding Elective Procedure/Surgery Cases

As a part of our ongoing efforts to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, effective immediately all elective procedures/surgery cases will be reviewed and possibly be re-scheduled. As with every medical situation, an evaluation of necessity will be performed by the physician/surgeon for exceptions to the rescheduling of cases.

While we understand this may be inconvenient, taking this step will help us continue to provide our patients with the best possible care during this difficult time.

For those who are approved for surgery, all patients/family members will be screened by staff for potential viral exposure and symptoms prior to any scheduled surgeries. If it is identified the patient had potential exposure or has early symptoms, they will be sent home and advised to contact their primary physician. This screening process will be strictly upheld to ensure the safety of patients and staff.

We thank you for your understanding as we take the necessary steps to both prevent the spread of COVID-19, and also treat those who have contracted the virus. If you have any specific questions, please reach out to your physician directly.
