The St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center Hematology/Oncology fellowship program is sponsored by New York Medical College, a member of the Touro University System. The program has six full time fellowship positions, two per PGY level. The fellows currently do their inpatient/consultation rotation at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical, St. Michael’s Medical Center and Trinitas Regional Medical and their Center for their Bone Marrow Transplant rotation at Hackensack University Medical Center.

St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center offers a wide diversity of pathology which is a foundational strength of the program. Additional exposure in solid tumor and benign hematology occurs during the rotation in consult service. Electives offered in blood banking, op clinics, flow cytometry, pathology, radiation therapy, and pain management. Cytogenetic rotations are done at Emerge Labs in Ramsey, NJ. At St. Michael’s Medical Center the strength of the program is in coagulation through a very busy hemophilia center. Fellows are also offered an elective in the coagulation lab. The rotation offers additional exposure to solid tumor and benign hematology.

An active weekly outpatient clinic provides a broad outpatient experience for the fellows at both St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center and St. Michael’s Medical Center.
