PATERSON, NJ [APRIL 19, 2013] - St. Joseph's Children's Hospital (SJCH) recently hosted the Sixth Annual "Cooking for Kids" event at the Westmount Country Club. With 50 world-class chefs, restaurateurs and distributors and more than 500 supporters and friends, this signature event raised funds for the young patients and their families at our Children's Hospital.
"The top tier chefs and vintners who participated in Cooking for Kids made for an evening of great food and excitement, all for the kids at St. Joseph's. Many of our pediatric programs will benefit from this fundraiser, enabling St. Joseph's Children's Hospital to continue bringing great care to the children who need it the most thanks to the support of the culinary community" says Timothy P. Barr, Vice President for Development, St. Joseph's Healthcare System, and Executive Director, St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center Foundation.
This year's event placed a focus on the Napa Valley Wineries as well as Gary's Wine and Marketplace offering many different tastes to complement and boost the flavors of the delectable tastings dishes prepared by local restaurateurs.
