There is probably no hospital today that can maintain the very best in health care technology and services without the help of some very special friends — its benefactors. Each year, hundreds of generous donors, many of them former patients, foundations, and local corporations, contribute to the Foundations of St. Joseph's Healthcare System, making a difference in the lives of countless people who depend on St. Joseph's.
In helping meet the needs of the poor and underserved, and the shortfall in terms of capital equipment, renovations and capital projects, and program support, the Foundations of St. Joseph's pick up where the hospital can not. Our Foundations' staffs and volunteer leaders work hand-in-hand with our hospitals to meet our community's need for the very best in health care expertise, equipment, and programs.
St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center and St. Joseph's Children's Hospital receive funding from the St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center Foundation, an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to fund the needs of St. Joseph's Hospital and St. Joseph's Children's Hospital. The St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital Foundation is an independent non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to support the needs of St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital. Both Foundations offer a full complement of fundraising activities and events to benefit the entities they are committed to helping.
