On Monday, May 20, 2013 the St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital Foundation will be holding its 26th Annual Sports Classic Golf Outing. Proceeds will support St. Joseph's multi-year renovation and expansion project, which includes enhancements to patient care units throughout the acute care community hospital located at 224 Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne.
The 26th Annual Sports Classic Golf Outing is chaired, once again, by St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital Physician David Rasa, MD, Founding Partner of High Mountain Health and University Imaging. The event's vice chairman is Thomas Marinaro, President, Residential Home Funding. Event sponsorship has been generously provided by Burris Construction Company of Moorestown.
This popular day on the links is expected to draw more than 220 golfers for a day of fun, golf, and fine dining. Additional event sponsorships and golfing opportunities are still available. Local businesses and area golfers are encouraged to contact the St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital Foundation as soon as possible to secure participation.
Golfers will have the opportunity to enjoy a day filled with golfing, excellent dining, many exciting upgrades, and extra incentives. Shotgun starts at 7:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.. This year's event also includes a 50/50 cash raffle and fun filled auction with a chance to win wonderful prizes. Goody bags will be provided to every golfer. Hole-in-one prizes will be awarded from Brogan Cadillac, Crane Chevrolet, Valley National Bank and Wayne Ford. Individual tickets are $575 per golfer, sponsorship opportunities range from $300 - $2,000. The event is the Foundation's 2nd largest fundraiser designed to support many Capital Improvements at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital.
