Nursing Care at St. Vincent's Nursing Home focuses on the quality of life for our elderly population.
We pride ourselves on meeting our individual resident's medical, physical, spiritual and psychological needs in a loving home-like environment.
Our Nursing staff consists of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants who are licensed or certified caregivers specializing and embracing care of the elderly.
Specific continuing education programs ensure that our staff is equipped to care for and maintain the safety of our residents with various diagnoses, including:
- Parkinson's Disease,
- Multiple Sclerosis,
- End of life Diseases.
As a nursing home facility who cares for many different types of needs in the elderly population, we also provide a safe and secure 50-bed unit for loved ones with Alzheimer's or Dementia.
During the admission process and throughout the residents stay, family members play an instrumental and necessary part in providing the staff of St. Vincent's insight to the life style in which their loved one has become accustomed.
To ensure quality of care, care conferences are scheduled regularly to discuss the plan of care for each resident. Family members and friends are encouraged to visit their loved ones.
