The Alfiero and Lucia Palestroni Birth Defects Center at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital is a division of St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center. The Center provides consultation and treatment services for children with structural birth defects and complex medical conditions. We create a medical home for patients and their families by providing unified care from a multidisciplinary team of specialists.
The Center's multidisciplinary team combines the expertise of subspecialists available at the St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center including Maternal-fetal Medicine, Genetics, Neonatalogy, Craniofacial, Cardiovascular Services, Orthopedics, Neurology, Feeding and Swallowing, Dental/Maxillofacial, Otolaryngology, Physical Medicine, Developmental, Pastoral Care, Nursing and Social Work.
