The Speech-Language Pathology Department at St. Joseph’s Healthcare System offers diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatient and outpatient children and adults with a wide variety of speech and language disorders.
This specialized form of physical therapy at St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center is designed to assess and treat patients with a variety of vestibular and balance disorders. Patients, who suffer from such symptoms as vertigo/dizziness, nausea, and imbalance, find that once they attend the program, their dizziness is decreased, their balance improves, their falls minimize, and they see an increase to their functional capability.
