Charity Ball 2005- Fundraising
This video was shown at the St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center's 2005 Charity Ball, which raises funds to support health care at St. Joseph's.
Courage, tenacity and faith compelled the iption: Sisters of Charity of Saint Elizabeth to establish St. Joseph's Hospital in 1867. True champions, the work of the Sisters of Charity continues to invigorate and shape the destiny of our medical center.
Just as patients are drawn to St. Joseph's for superior medical care, so too are the people who provide that care. Those in white jackets, scrubs and suits, outstanding physicians, nurses twice accorded the Magnet award for nursing excellence, clinical and professional staff: these are the champions that maintain the long standing tradition of medical excellence, trust and compassion at St. Joseph's.
And yet, the passion for St. Joseph's reaches beyond the walls of the Medical Center and Children's Hospital. It is reflected in the generosity of our friends and neighbors who enable the Medical Center to enhance the quality of life and respond to the needs of our community.
