SYBASE Golf Classic - Fundraising
LPGA Professional Golfers were recently in town for the Sybase Classic presented by ShopRite held at the upper Montclair Country Club in Clifton, New Jersey.
A group of 9 LPGA Professional Golfers visit St. Joseph's Children's Hospital at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson NJ. The Hospital was a beneficiary of the local Sybase Classic (2009) event presented by ShopRite held at the upper Montclair Country Club. A tour of the Children's Hospital provided them the opportunity to donate gifts and play games with some of the patients including Wii Golf. For all the players in attendance it was memorable and special during tournament week. Professional golf players Diana D'Alessio, Laura Diaz, Stacy Lewis, Anna Rawson and Becky Morgan were greatly impacted by the visit and made many new friends as a result. Catherine Howe also visited with a few sisters from the hospital to help prepare them for the event and give them one on one golfing advice and practice.
