The nationally recognized Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center is a designated Level III Perinatal Center. Board-certified obstetricians, perinatologist, urogynecological surgeons, and midwives are part of our comprehensive medical team. Women may choose from private physicians in the community or elect to attend one of our faculty-staffed clinics. St. Joseph's Obstetric and Gynecologist practitioners are outstanding examples of compassionate, quality providers of women's services.

There are many reasons why patients choose St. Joseph's, especially for the availability of genetic counseling, maternal fetal medicine services, and the Centers for High Risk Pregnancy. Board-certified perinatologists are available for the latest in ultrasonography, including nuchal translucency testing. Designated as one of the first regional perinatal centers in the state, St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center's OB/GYN department provides the most advanced leading edge services available.

St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center has trained staff who specialize in lactation support. We provide you with this service to ensure that you and your baby get off to the best possible start!

Centers for High Risk Pregnancy

St. Joseph's Regional Perinatal Center provides highly skilled obstetrical care to expectant mothers in the Northern New Jersey area. Dr. Aldo Khoury, Department Director, is a Board-certified Perinatologist. Additionally, St. Joseph's also has two Board-certified perinatologists, Dr. David Principe and Dr. Christopher Sullivan. Beside the active clinic at the Regional Perinatal Center, all three physicians maintain private practices in the area.

Childbirth Preparation & Parent Education

St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center provides a variety of classes and resources for those families preparing for the joy of childbirth and parenting.
