Electrophysiology

Arrhythmia is an irregular or improper beating of the heart. Electrophysiologists (cardiologists with training in heart rhythm disorders) use electrophysiology studies to gain insight into the underlying cause of abnormal heart rhythms and how best to treat them.

Our team specializes in diagnosing and treating arrhythmias using the most advanced equipment and techniques. Our expert electrophysiologists can help get your heart and life back in rhythm with everything from pacemaker or defibrillator implants to minimally invasive ablation and hybrid techniques for disorders that do not respond well to traditional treatments. Our goal is to relieve uncomfortable symptoms and prevent severe complications.

Our Services

  • Pacemaker: If you have a slow heartbeat, a Pacemaker is a small device that is implanted under the skin, most often on the left or right side of your chest.
  • Defibrillator: A defibrillator implant is the surgical placement of an electrical device to treat life threatening rhythms.
  • Ablations: A-fib, ST, A-flutter ablation is a technique used to treat abnormal heart rhythms. This is a non-surgical procedure.
