Laboratory Diagnostics

Laboratory diagnostics include our Cytogenetic Laboratory, Molecular Biology Laboratory and Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) capabilities. All are under the medical direction of Board-certified specialists. St. Joseph’s is a leader in tumor diagnosis and residual disease management. We offer a full range of services, including chromosome analysis, FLOW Cytometry, Cell and Tissue Cultures, Fluorescent Insitu Hybridization (FISH) Analysis and Imaging Analysis. We also have a Cytovision Image Analysis System which connects our hospitals to peer hospitals, nationwide, through its CytoNet Capabilities.

St. Joseph’s Molecular Biology Laboratory also provides an array of services, including Hematologic Analysis, Immunohistochemistry, Cell Proliferation, Immunophenotyping, BP Facs Canto 6-color Flow Cytometry, Cell Function Analysis and Cytokine quantitative and qualitative studies. PCR capabilities utilize all available commercial services. St. Joseph’s labs are located within our hospitals.
