St. Joseph's Health is proud to collaborate with the JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute (JRI) to bring nationally recognized rehabilitation services to our Acute Rehabilitation.  St. Joseph's Acute Rehabilitation is the only rehabilitation facility of its kind in Passaic County.  Located in a hospital setting, the unit offers comprehensive rehabilitative services for patients in need of intensive recovery.

Acute Rehabilitation patients include adults with the following diagnoses:

Stroke

Spinal Cord Injuries

Hip Fractures

Congenital Deformities

Amputations

Joint Replacements

Brain Injury

Neurologic Disorders, including: Multiple Sclerosis, Polyneuropathy, Muscular Dystrophy and Parkinson's Disease

Burns

Acute Flare Up of Arthritis

Case Management & Social Work Services

Other Services: All of St. Joseph's Wayne Medical Center clinical and therapeutic services are available to patients.  These include pastoral care, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, laboratory, diabetes education, driver rehabilitation, and all other diagnostic and treatment services.
