Pharmacist Preceptors

Neli Attas, PharmD (attasn@sjhmc.org) 

Dr. Neli Attas, PharmD, is the Pediatric Clinical Pharmacist and a preceptor to residents and students at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. She received a BS in science from the University of Toronto, Canada and B.S. and Pharm.D. degrees from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed an ASHP accredited pharmacy practice residency program at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.  Her areas of interest include medication safety strategies, pediatric critical care, drug information, pediatric hematology and oncology and cystic fibrosis. Dr. Attas is active in local, regional and national pharmacy organizations.

Daniel Greer, PharmD, BCPP (v_pharm_dg@sjhmc.org) 

Dr. Daniel Greer serves as the behavioral health clinical pharmacist at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center and as a clinical assistant professor at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University. Dr. Greer provides clinical services on the inpatient psychiatric unit, acute partial hospitalization program, and outpatient psychiatric clinic. Dr. Greer received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV and a PGY-2 Psychiatric Pharmacy Residency at the VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System in Denver, CO.

Humberto Jimenez, PharmD, BCPS, AAHIVP (v_ruems_hj@sjhmc.org)

Dr. Humberto Jimenez serves as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Infectious Diseases at Comprehensive Care Center at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, Paterson, NJ, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University, Piscataway, NJ. Dr. Jimenez received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from the Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, and completed his residency training at St. Michael’s Medical Center, Newark, NJ. At his practice site, Dr. Jimenez provides patient care, including counseling, drug/medical information and other support services for HIV infected children, adolescents, and adults.  Dr. Jimenez collaborates with infectious disease physicians, nurses, case managers, and others to ensure patients are given quality and comprehensive patient care. In this setting and on campus, Dr. Jimenez provides didactic and hands-on teaching to students and residents. Dr. Jimenez is also a co-founder and President of Waves of Health, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing modern medical care to underserved communities. He is a board certified pharmacotherapy specialist and a Practicing HIV Pharmacist, a certification provided by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.

Cait E. Kulig, PharmD (v_facul_ck@sjhmc.org)

Dr. Kulig is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, Rutgers University and the Clinical Cardiology Pharmacist at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.  Dr. Kulig received her Bachelor of Science from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, NJ and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, NC. She then went on to pursue a PGY-1 Acute Care Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY-2 Cardiology Residency at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. Dr. Kulig’s clinical interests include mechanical support and advanced heart failure.

Christopher Malabanan, PharmD, BCPS (malabanc@sjhmc.org)

Dr. Christopher Malabanan is the PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency Associate Program Director (Program Coordinator) at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. He is a Coordinator for Clinical Pharmacy at  St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. His current areas of focus are oncology, infusion center, and anticoagulation. Prior to joining St. Joseph’s, Dr. Malabanan worked at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ and completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency (PGY-1) at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

Kayla Natali, PharmD BCACP, CDCES, BCIDP, AAHIVP (natalikayla@sjhmc.org)

Kayla Natali is the PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency Program Director for St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. She is an Ambulatory Care Clinical Pharmacist at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Dr. Natali received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from MCPHS University – Boston.  She completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency as well as a PGY-2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.  She currently provides ambulatory care clinical pharmacy services to patients at the DePaul Center.  Her clinical interests include diabetes management, hypertension management, and HIV management.

Lynette Richards PharmD, BCPS (richardl@sjhmc.org)

Dr. Lynette Richards is the PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Associate Program Director (Program Coordinator) at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center. Dr.  Richards was previously an Internal Medicine and Transitions of Care Pharmacist at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, but has recently transitioned to Clinical Pharmacy Manager. Her clinical focus has included geriatric internal medicine, pain/palliative care, and infectious disease/antimicrobial stewardship.  She serves as a preceptor to pharmacy students and pharmacy practice residents.  Dr. Richards received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Hampton University School of Pharmacy and completed a PGY1 residency with St. Joseph’s Health in Paterson, NJ.
