SJWH Art Show

WAYNE, NJ [January 11, 2012] –Recently, over 100 guests gathered at the Acute Rehabilitation Unit (ARU) of St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital (SJWH), a division of St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Wayne, New Jersey, when one of the rooms was transformed into an art show exhibit. Featured was the work of Ralph Arminio, Sr., a Little Falls artist and businessman.

The Arminio family credits Sister Mary Pauline Hogan, SC, Patient Relations Representative, SJWH, for encouraging Mr. Arminio to take up drawing again while he recovered in the hospital following a stroke. His family initially brought a sketchpad and pastels for Mr. Arminio but he was sure he'd never be able to draw or paint again and so the art supplies lay unused in a drawer.
