Requirements for CME Presentations

  • Second slide must include statement of disclosure/no disclosure.
  • Adhere to the HIPAA regulations by removing all patient identifiers from x-rays, laboratory studies, slides, etc.
  • Photographs of patients may be used ONLY with the patient’s written permission.
  • Generic names should be used in educational materials rather than trade names.
  • Remove any product logos from the educational materials.
  • Properly cite all copyrighted material, including tables, figures, algorithms, quotes, etc.
