Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program

Thank you for your interest in the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program based at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, located in Paterson, New Jersey. Our Program is a one-year ACGME-accredited program under the academic sponsorship of St. Joseph’s University Medical Center.  Upon successful completion of a three-year ACGME-accredited cardiovascular disease fellowship, interested parties may apply to our Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program.  As you will see from our Program Overview, we offer outstanding clinical and academic training.  Our robust didactic lectures enhance the training of our fellows and provide a platform for ample research opportunities.  Our faculty serve as active mentors to our fellows throughout their fellowship experience.  Many of our faculty members are previous trainees in our Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship Program as well as our Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program.  Our faculty remain committed to develop leadership potential in our fellows and strive to impart their own passion and commitment to the principles of professionalism, integrity, compassion, and dedication to the patients they serve.

St. Joseph’s University Medical Center hosts five state-of-the-art Cardiac Catherization Labs where fellows  receive excellent training in all aspects of interventional cardiology.  We are the proud recipient of the American Heart Association’s Lifeline-STEMI Receiving Center-GOLD PLUS Quality Achievement Award for the past consecutive six years and recipient of Silver and Bronze Quality Achievement Awards since 2012.

Come along with me as you explore the opportunities available in our Program.
