Proven, Life-Saving Treatment Options

We are committed to providing you with the best possible treatment for your specific cancer, its stage, and your personal needs. Effective treatment of cancer requires a coordinated team of surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and other specialists who come together to determine the most appropriate treatment plan and provide seamless patient care throughout the entire course of treatment.

  • Surgery: For various types of cancer, surgery is the optimal treatment. At St. Joseph’s Health, you have access to experienced surgeons and advanced surgical options, like robotic surgery, leading to faster recovery and better outcomes.
  • Radiation therapy: This treatment uses high doses of radiation to remove and damage cancer cells to prevent them from growing and spreading. At St. Joseph’s Health, our highly-skilled radiation oncology team uses advanced technology to deliver precise doses of radiation with pinpoint accuracy to treat tumors, minimizing radiation exposure to surrounding healthy tissue.
  • Medical therapy: This treatment uses powerful medicines to destroy cancer cells in order to stop or slow their growth. We offer a broad range of medical oncology options, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy and hormone therapy.
  • Clinical trials: We offer groundbreaking clinical research to offer the latest innovative approaches to cancer care treatment.

Early Detection Can Save Lives

When it comes to cancer diagnosis and treatment, early detection improves outcomes. Screening tests are used to find cancer in people who have no symptoms. Regular screenings are an essential part of cancer prevention and provide the best chance of finding cancer early when it’s easier to treat and cure. St. Joseph’s Health provides the most advanced screenings available to catch the disease in its earliest stage when it’s most treatable.

St. Joseph’s Health uses state of the art technology, precise techniques, and expert staff to provide the most accurate imaging available. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology for providing the highest level of image quality and patient safety. Our expert team includes radiologists that are board certified and fellowship trained as well as technologists and nurses that are experienced in performing cancer-related imaging studies.
